Nescafé as a force behind empowerment of students, will move throughout several provinces in various tertiary institutions – WITS, UKZN, UJ and UCT. Under the campaign, ‘This is our grind’, the coffee brand wants to kick start their careers and give guidance, towards a fulfilling and prosperous professional venture.
On August 15th, Nescafé and Khaya Dlanga took the grind to the University of Cape Town (UCT), where a motivational talk and Q&A was held with students. The grind sessions focussed on guiding perspectives, championing strong minds and inspiring positive spirits.
In his Q&A session and talk, Khaya Dlanga said, “I may not be qualified to do anything but I will not disqualify myself from doing anything. It takes many nights to become an overnight success ”
Students were also engaged and trained on LinkedIn practices and how best it can be used, to benefit students. Amongst the discussions taking place, was how to create a resume, how to target the most suitable companies and how to effectively network.
